FOUNDERS
Prince Dimitri Romanovich Romanov is the CHAIRMAN and
the FOUNDER of
the Fund, which was registered in
April 2006 in Moscow. Since 1993 Prince Dimitri has dedicated his time to humanitarian
activities in his capacity of chairman and founder of "The Romanov Fund for Russia” registered in London.
During the period between 1993
to 2006 he organized more than 50 charity and humanitarian actions in
various cities of
Russia, Ukraine and Central Asia. His spouse, Princess Dorrit Romanov, assists
her husband in these activities and accompanies him during the
humanitarian actions.
Mrs. Elena Ryurikova is a lawyer by
education. Since 1999,when staying with her husband in Uzbekistan, she engaged in
humanitarian activities on a private basis having provided humanitarian assistance
to Russian citizens who had been convicted in Uzbekistan. She was also a regular
visitor and a major contributor to the orphanage № 23 in Tashkent and
offered different kinds of help to her
Russian compatriots. Residing in Denmark with her husband, Mrs. Ryurikova joined the founders of
The Prince Dimitri Romanov Charity
Fund in spring 2006
and became its Director General.
