In
the autumn of 2009 the Prince Romanov Charity Fund, availing itself of the
sponsorship of the Russian Federation’s “Sberbank”, carried out a project - to
transfer 400 fully equipped Samsung computers to a number of entities of the
Borovsk municipal district of the Kaluga region. The Borovsk region is known as
an ancient spiritual center of the Orthodox Russia. Today it also becomes a
center for modern high technologies.

"The Reference-Point” Center for teenager’s social rehabilitation of Balabanovo
city, the Yermolino city municipal Center for social assistance to Family and
Children affairs, the Borovsk city Municipal Administration and the parish of
the St. Boris and Gleb Orthodox Temple of the Borovsk city became the recipients
of the computer transfer project. The computers were deployed at the stationary
institutions of the
Centers and were distributed among those who need it – the
institutions of care for orphan children, invalids and low income families with
many children.
Mr.V.Ternikov, the Head of the Borovsk regional Administration, sent a letter to
Prince D.Romanov and the Charity Fund expressing gratitude for the humanitarian
action which helps to create equal opportunities for all cathegories of citizens
of Russia. |
